Fern Levitt has been producing and directing documentary programs for ten years. Her work has appeared on TVOntario, Discovery Channel and Global Television. Her work includes If I Had a Magic Wand(1997), a film about the exploitation of Mexican workers by international corporations: Memories of Elliot Lake (1997), a story about the fight led by Steven Lewis head of the New Democratic Party in Ontario to help the miners of Elliot Lake; A Gift of Life(1998), chronicles the struggle of two families whose children need a life saving bone marrow transplant and Each of Us Has A Name(1999), the journey of Canadian teenagers and Holocaust survivors as they tour the former death camps of Poland.
