African Presence
This is a project produced by the students of Cole Harbour High School
and the Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia. It provides a history of
how Blacks came to Nova Scotia and a map showing the locations of the
Black communities. There's also a good selection of links to related sites.

Walk to Canada, Tracing the Underground Railroad
Anthony Cohen is an historian and author who has spent the last three
years researching the Underground Railroad. He's actually re-tracing the
route Blacks would have taken and has posted a map, an itinerary and weekly
reports on the site. There are also a number of links to other Underground
Railroad sites on the Web.
