An
exploration of the fascinating life of the controversial Arcticanthropologist/explorer,
Vilhjalmur Stefansson, this documentary includes the fresh perspective
of Stefansson’s six forgotten Inuit grandchildren. One of the most
famous men of the early 20th century, Stefansson is best known for discovering
the "Blond Eskimo" of the central arctic. He was one of the
first explorers to adopt the Inuit lifestyle, living off the land. The
film incorporates extraordinary, rare archival footage.
